I was working on an experimental spacecraft project as test pilot, call sign Big Dipper.
I was chosen to shuttle a research team to Alpha Centauri, a feat never attempted with a manned flight.
We were going to be legends…
But a reactor explosion sent us spinning out of control only hours into the flight. There was a bright flash and we lost consciousness…
I came to in an unknown part of space and managed to crash our damaged ship gently onto a nearby planetary body.
We survived, but the nightmare was just beginning…

Exiting the ship, we found ourselves surrounded by hordes of horrifying insectoid monsters.
The bugs wasted no time in attacking and tearing my crew to pieces.
But Dip Reinegger doesn’t waste time either….
I fired up my new triple-barrel blast cannon and I cut those mothers to shreds!
Turns out that, aside from the bugs, it was a pretty hospitable planet, in the far away galaxy of Andromeda.
The locals were grateful for my help with the infestation and treated me to all the Florg I could drink!
And that’s how I became the greatest.
But I still have to figure out how to get home…
